A Nativity Like No Other – And We Made the News!

Christmas is always a special time at St John’s Church, but this year, our nativity had an unexpected twist—and even caught the attention of the local newspaper!

With no children available to take part, the adults stepped up to bring the Christmas story to life in the most creative way possible. Mary, Joseph, angels, shepherds, and wise men were all played by grown-ups, embracing the festive spirit with enthusiasm (and a few costume adjustments!). But what really made our nativity stand out? The animals!

🐑 Real Animals and a Very Special “Camel” 🐪

A local farmer kindly brought along real sheep, adding an authentic touch to the stable scene. But the star of the show? A horse-turned-camel, complete with makeshift humps to complete the illusion. It was a sight to behold—our very own “camel” standing proudly alongside Mary and Joseph!

🎉 A Heartwarming Celebration 🎉

The result was a heartwarming, joy-filled event that had everyone smiling—and it didn’t go unnoticed. The local newspaper picked up the story, celebrating our unique take on the nativity and the wonderful community spirit that made it happen.

It just goes to show that Christmas magic isn’t just for children—sometimes, the grown-ups have just as much fun! 🎄✨
