On 7th December, we were blessed to share one of the true highlights of our church year as we gathered for our Carol Service, wonderfully accompanied by the Macclesfield Youth Brass Band. It was a real joy to see the church so full, with both our regular congregation and many welcomed guests joining us for this special occasion.
With such a large congregation and the fabulous sound of the brass band, the singing was truly uplifting. The voices rang out with enthusiasm, and the carols really did raise the roof of our little tin tabernacle! There was a wonderful sense of celebration, togetherness, and joy as we sang familiar carols that remind us of the hope and promise of Christmas.
Adding to the fun was an A-Z of Christmas theme, which brought plenty of laughter and even a few chocolate prizes along the way. While light-hearted and enjoyable, it also helped keep our hearts and minds focused on the true meaning of Christmas.
Following the service, the fellowship continued as we shared mulled wine and warm mince pies, giving everyone the chance to chat, connect, and enjoy one another’s company.
We are so thankful for everyone who came along, for the wonderful musicians, and for the joy of seeing our church filled with song, laughter, and praise. It really was a special service.
